This week students will be working on their Illuminated letter projects. They should start coloring on Monday and continue to work hard on their careful crayon coloring throughout the week.

Today we started our unit on the art of the middle ages!
Students were responsible for completing a vocabulary worksheet. If your student was absent they can get a sheet from me and then fill it out with the following vocabulary words and definitions as homework. Tapestry- a piece of art made of fabric. It can be a weaving, embroidery or painting. Rose Window- A circular design made of colored and clear glass. Statue- a sculpture of an animal or person. illuminated Manuscript- A handmade book with elaborately decorated letters and pages. |
