Today students began to learn about portraits. They completed a worksheet that shows them how to draw a face in correct proportion. We also discussed Gilbert Stuart who is a famous portrait painter.

Students will be able to write the vocabulary word, the definition, create an illustration and use the word in a sentence. Portrait: A picture of a person History Painting: A depiction of an important event or famous person Column: An upright beam that supports a building. There are three types (doric, ionic and corinthian) Patriotic: Showing love or appreciation for your country ![]() Students in the 4th grade were able to use some awesome materials that we got from a Donorschose.org grant to create handmade papers! The kids were able to choose from 5 different pulps and then create their one of a kind piece of paper!
