This week we will review horizontal, vertical and diagonal. We will start using oil pastels to create a picture inspired by music! Stay tuned! These are awesome! "I can identify horizontal, vertical and diagonal lines".
This week students will be working on a drawing they started last class of a building. They will be identifying the lines that they used to draw the building using colors. We will look at the painting "Mother and Child" and begin a lesson on "buddy lines". Stay tuned for pictures! This year we will work with a variety of media to create some beautiful projects! We will start the year with a line unit and your child should know what a horizontal, vertical and diagonal line is by the end of the term.
