Activity: Students will create a dragon sculpture for the Chinese New Year. Assessment: Students will be able to follow directions to create their dragons. This will take two classes to complete! This week students are working on a landscape of the Oregon trail.

Activity: Students will be able to create a landscape with a horizon line, a wagon trail, details and textures. Assessment: Completion, effort, no modern items! This week students are working on a landscape of the Oregon trail.
We brainstormed ideas for different kinds of landscapes that would be seen on the Oregon trail, what would be in those landscapes and what we would never see! No planes or phones! Students will be coloring for the next week and then adding some wagons! This week the kids are working on a design for our third annual Valentine card contest!
