This week we are creating fall trees using construction paper, scissors, tearing and glue stick.
After reading "Sky Tree" the students talked about the different parts of a tree (trunk, branch, leaf) and then created their own fall trees using warm colors. Students in kindergarten are learning their last warm color!
We are creating the third page in our COLOR book... yellow! We read the story "Little Blue and Little Yellow" and then... painted! Today students used Q-Tips and yellow tempera paint to create a dotty spotty banana and lemon! We also practiced our coloring skills. Next week we will focus on the warm colors we learned about the past three weeks! Hooray! |
