I can start to add color to my self-portrait and quilt border! I can be very careful with the colored pencils.

I can create a self-portrait flying over something that I wish could be mine. I am using the ideas of proportion that we have been learning and drawing something inspired by the book "Tar Beach" by Faith Ringgold. I can create a flag that shows that I understand how to visually represent fractions. Half of any number of squares will be blue, 1/4 will be yellow and 1/4 will be green.
I can draw myself using the tools I learned last week about proportion and the face. I can color my self portrait completely.

I can do my best coloring carefully and completely. I can finish my mosaic, aqueduct and column today! We are getting ready for the Roman Festival which is tomorrow!
